New music, just released: this episode music from Francis Poulenc, Rudolf Esher and Giacomo Susani.
Quirine Viersen and Ronald Beijer recorded a new CD at the BarcaNova label. We will listen to the Cello Sonate from Francis Poulenc and the Sonata Concertante from Rudolf Escher. Both performances from Viersen and Beijer are simply sublime.
Then we have also selected some music for clarinet and guitar for you, from guitarist Emilie Fend and clarinetist Andreas Hermanski. They commissioned new works for their new CD with Naxos; listen to two parts from the Sonata for clarinet and guitar (2022) from Giacomo Susani.
