Part two of the series on the French composer Vincent d’Indy with a focus on his orchestral works.
In this episode, two orchestral works of d’Indy get a chance to be heard. First, his biggest work, the second Symphony opus 57, which was dedicated to his colleague, the composer Paul Dukas. Next on the programme is the symphonic poem Souvenirs, in memory of his late wife.
