Diatonic accordeon folk by Korronitzi, flamenco by Labryénco, fado by António Zambujo and Balkan music by Amariszi.
Korrontzi gives the traditional music from Basque Country a cosmopolitain sound. Four musicians, each of them with roots in the Basque traditional music with central figure trikitixa player Agus Barandianran.
Labryénco, set up by Alain Labrie, consists of five regular artists who know how to make a mixture of flamenco and diverse Mediterranean influences sound as one.
On his masterly fifth album Quinto (2012) António Zambujo sings Brazilian works. You will hear broad influences: from Chet Baker to Veloso.
In 2014 the second album ‘Nine Balkan Nights’ of Amarisz was released. The album reached a number 1 position on the English World Music Network audio chart, and a 13th place on the World Music Charts Europe.
