The baroque spirit in all his musical shapes. ‘Ballet Royal de La Nuit’, part 2. In February 1653 there was a long lasting, splendid party at the Louvre. The highlight was a dancing Louis XIV. The young king danced to music of the ‘Ballet Royal de La Nuit’ and this is where he received the nickname ‘the Sun King’. This is the second and final part of the reconstruction of the ‘Ballet Royal de La Nuit’ by Sébastien Daucé.
