At the end of 1967 Fairport Convention was set up. The band turned out to be a powder keg of talents. Illustrious names like Richard Thompson, Iain Matthews, Sandy Denny, Dave Swarbrick, Dave Mattacks and Dan ar Bras used to be part of the formation. This year it celebrates its 45 year anniversary.
