The German Composer Tobias Klich, thirty years of age, is this year’s winner of the Gaudeamus Prize for young composers. The jury praised him as “a true narrative composer, who has maximum expressive potential, his work grabs you immediately, he has a consistent technical approach, his music consists of highly sophisticated gorgeous sounds”. Abel Paúl from Spain and Emre Kaleli from Turkey received honorable mentions for the works they submitted.
