The fifth edition of the FAQ Festival took place in the Toonzaal(Hall) in ‘s Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, on 10 and 11 April 2014. The Concertzender recorded all the concerts. In this third episode of FAQ 2014 , you can listen to the concerts of Lunapark and Wouter van Veldhoven.

In the series Inventions for Radio, July 23rd 23.00 CET the first of a triptich episodes curated and presented by SoundFjord London. Sound artist Graham Dunning explores the work of engineer, botanist, chemist and artist Giuseppe “Pinot” Gallizio in “The Radiophonic Laboratory of Antimatter”.

Folk magazine about the past and the present, from freak folk to minstrels. This edition’s topic is Dutch music from the seventies about the then new phenomenon of large groups of people from foreign countries, who came to work and live in the Netherlands. You will hear songs about illimitability and foreign labourers, about a romantic view on the liberal humans, the vanishing of heavy industry and dictatorial regimes. You can listen to a.o. Carboon, the Positivoos, Ramses Shaffy, Adèle Bloemendaal, Kabaret led by the Wijs en Henk and the Stainless Steelband.

This time, we will highlight the music of bass player Luc Ex. Luc Ex has started his musical career with the legendary band EX. In 2001, he left this band to have more time for his own projects. During this episode, we will highlight some of his own ensembles including; Roof, Rubatong, Sol 6, Bouge and Luc Ex’s Assemblee.
