British pianist Matthew Bourne (1977) part 3. His trio with bass player Dave Kane and percussionist Steve Davis was created in 2002. They never rehearse and made 3 CDs up to now, one of which with saxophonist Paul Dunmall.

Madeleine Peyroux (1973) is an American jazz singer and guitar player. She is known for the sound of her voice, which is sometimes compared to Billie Holiday’s, but she was also inspired by artists like Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan. In July 2012, she performed at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam along with her quartet.

Orchestra leader, composer and pianist Duke Ellington (1899-1974) part 24. In 1956 he wrote a magnificent suite for his orchestra, based on works by playwright and poet William Shakespeare: Such Sweet Thunder. Recordings from 1956 and 1957.

Joe Venuti (1903-1978) part 6. He was the first notable jazz violin player. He and his colleague and friend guitarist Eddie Lang were a pioneering and successful duo. Recordings by Venuti under his own name and with orchestras of Bix Beiderbecke, Hoagy Carmichael and Fred Rich.
