He released two ambient albums as Alp: ‘At Home With Alp’ (1999), an album created by using household equipment only. And there is ‘Out and About with Alp’ (2003), his ‘outdoor album’. ‘Out and about…’ is also Horberry’s tribute to the city of Amsterdam.

This English multi instrumentalist, improvisator and composer is considered to be one of the most important musicians in contemporary experimental and improvised music. In the mid nineties he also started writing for classical ensembles. Pacifica is one of his first compositions for a classical ensemble.
