Federico Durand, Huerco S, Tarwater, Alva Noto, Monty Adkins, Kyoka, Niagara and TM404 – they all pass by in this dynamic and complex program of Free Radicals. It is new work that has often alienating electronic music as basis, from shifting ambient music to the narrative voice of Iggy Pop to experimental electronic music, and some more between that.

‘Pakrammels’ come in many shapes. Emotional beatings, volume tornados, small taps with toys and unexpected tips from suprising angles. With this Pakrammel producer Tjeerd van Erve tries to alternate between the mean and harsh angles with a comforting hug here and there, only to give a serious beating later on. The result is, again, an electrifying hour of music.
